Larsen & Co is a small but well established accountancy practice based in Withernsea with clients throughout East Yorkshire. Due to our expanding client base we are now recruiting for the following position.

Accounts Assistant

Permanent position
Part time with possibility of increasing to full time.

For this position we are looking for a candidate that is self-motivated, works well as part of a team and can work efficiently and accurately. Significant development and training is on offer dependent on previous qualifications.


Key responsibilities

- Maintenance of nominal, sales and purchase ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- Running weekly and monthly payrolls
- Ad hoc office administration

Requirements

- GCSE Maths Grade C or higher
- Good Excel and Word skills
- Possess a clear and confident telephone manner
- Have a high degree of accuracy
- Experience with Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts an advantage
